Fleishman Building, NCAR

The Fleischman Building was designed to augment the National Center for Atmospheric Research with a new conference center and offices. The small 2-story building (4,100 square feet) occupies a densely planted sloped 1-acre site adjacent to the main building. It was constructed with the same materials: red aggregate-colored architectural concrete, but its facades are board-formed and sandblasted rather than bush-hammered.

The Fleischman Building stands apart from the main complex, near parking. / Google Earth
