The I.M. Pei Foundation is an independent non-profit organization that serves as a cultural bridge between East and West, modernity and tradition, to advance the common good.

As a link between the physical and digital worlds, we provide comprehensive information about I.M. Pei’s legacy on our website. The Foundation continues I.M. Pei’s aspiration to enrich the world for future generations by connecting architecture, technology, nature and the arts on a platform that inspires dialogue and knowledge sharing.

We bring together international experts and innovative thought leaders to make a difference in global concerns that affect us all.

The Foundation’s diverse programming promotes sustainability in urban development, cultural and heritage protection, multidisciplinary public learning, and scholarships awarded to those with the imagination and commitment to better our collective future. The focus and outreach of the Foundation continue to grow.

Currently registered in Switzerland, the United States, and Hong Kong, the I.M. Pei Foundation was established in 2018 by Mr. Chien Chung Pei, Ms. Wenyan Jiang and Mr. James C. Jao.
